As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play an integral role within the care home, working as part of a small domestic team. Your role is key in ensuring the home is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard in line with the cleaning schedules to ensure our residents live in an exceptional environment.
To ensure that all areas of the care home are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with the specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the residents' and home's needs.
- To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health & Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act, to ensure a safe and efficient laundry service in the home.
- To check all areas of the home are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the manager of any shortages.
- To be an active and helpful member of the team, contribute to meetings, attend training sessions and ensure that the care home is a friendly and supportive working environment.

Hours of work: (08:00-17:00) and you will be expected to work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on, followed by three consecutive shifts off, which equates to an average of 31.5 hours per week in total.
Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.53
