As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play an integral role within the care home, working as part of a small domestic team. Your role is key in ensuring the home is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard in line with the cleaning schedules in order to ensure our residents live in an exceptional environment.
To ensure that all areas of the care home are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with the specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the residents' and home's needs.
- To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health & Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act, to ensure a safe and efficient laundry service in the home.
- To check all areas of the home are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the manager of any shortages.
- To be an active and helpful member of the team, contribute to meetings, attend training sessions and ensure that the care home is a friendly and supportive working environment.

Hours of work: (08:00-17:00) and you will be expected to work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on, followed by three consecutive shifts off, which equates to an average of 31.5 hours per week in total.
Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.53
