We're looking for compassionate and motivated Senior Care Assistants who lead by example, enjoy mentoring others and are passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents while helping to lead and develop the wider care team. You'll be trusted with additional responsibilities including medication administration, reviewing care plans and supporting less experienced colleagues, ensuring every resident receives the highest standard of care. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs and preferences. Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, ensuring their care plans are implemented and reviewed effectively. Review, update and contribute to individual care plans to ensure residents receive the best possible support. Mentor, support and lead less experienced care team members, promoting best practice throughout the home. Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly and maintaining accurate records. Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, relatives and colleagues to ensure continuity of care. Support residents with meals and hydration, providing assistance where required while promoting independence. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including light housekeeping duties when needed. Holds, or is working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Has previous experience working as a Care Assistant within a residential or nursing environment. Is committed to delivering exceptional resident care every day. You will work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off.
