About the Role As a Senior Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents while helping to lead and develop the wider care team. Youll be trusted with additional responsibilities including medication administration, reviewing care plans and supporting less experienced colleagues, ensuring every resident receives the highest standard of care. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each residents individual needs and preferences. Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, ensuring their care plans are implemented and reviewed effectively. Safely administer medication and maintain accurate medication records in line with company procedures. Review, update and contribute to individual care plans to ensure residents receive the best possible support. Mentor, support and lead less experienced care team members, promoting best practice throughout the home. Monitor residents physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly and maintaining accurate records. Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, relatives and colleagues to ensure continuity of care. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and dignity for every resident.
