Promote a resident-led culture by educating colleagues about individual preferences, backgrounds and life experiences.
Gather photographs and stories from activities to contribute to newsletters, noticeboards and social media, ensuring appropriate consent has been obtained.
Share ideas and best practice through monthly social committee meetings.
Be flexible to support occasional evening or special events where required.
About You
- Is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about improving quality of life for older people.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys building relationships with residents, families and the wider community.
- Is organised and confident planning engaging activities and events.
- Has good, IT skills, and is comfortable recording information electronically.
- Can motivate others and encourage a whole-home approach to resident engagement.
- Is flexible, proactive and able to adapt activities to meet changing needs and abilities.
Working Pattern
10:00am 5:00pm Permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off Average 24.5 hours per week Flexibility to support occasional evening activities and events as required.
Pay : £13.79 per hour
