Your role will be based across the South West Region of England, supporting our homes across Somerset and Devon. We will ensure that every team member is offered the opportunity to develop their skills and to progress if desired. The Role:

We are currently recruiting for another skilled Regional Director, to ensure the business is run to meet company occupancy targets and that agreed objectives are achieved and in line with company requirements. You will have direct line management of your homes' General Managers; ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities, monitoring their performance, ensuring they meet company requirements, Health & Social Care Act Regulations and that they follow and implement Crystal Care Collection's policies, procedures and the Governance Pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate key areas of the business, continuously identifying improvements on profitability, e.g., occupancy, sickness/absence, staff retention/turnover.
  • To promote the Crystal Care Collection brand through the implementation and evaluation of sales and marketing activities.
  • To identify trends in the business where cost savings can be made and make recommendations to the management team at regular meetings.
  • To carry out monthly performance reviews with your team of General Managers.
  • To be responsible for the General Managers performance in meeting company policies and procedures, e.g., quality assurance audits, sickness policy, complaints and financial management etc.
  • To assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of effective personal development plans for General Managers.
  • To conduct monthly audit reviews for your group of homes.
  • To monitor expenses incurred by your General Managers.
  • To adhere to the guidelines laid down by the CQC.
  • To inspire, motivate and lead your team of managers.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to control and manage budgets and accounts.
  • Knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing.
  • Skilled in the recruitment, selection and retention of staff.
  • Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
  • Understanding of the Health & Social Care Act and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Leadership qualities, enthusiasm along with influencing and motivational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, confident and warm personality.
  • Have a caring disposition, reliable and punctual.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of local authorities.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of Person Centred Software (PCS).

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for care (first and foremost) and those who are keen to be the best in the sector.

Hours of work:

Your hours of work will be 09.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility as and when required. This will equate to 40 hours per week in total.
