Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality laundry service, following appropriate fabric care instructions and residents' individual requirements.
- Ensure all residents' clothing and personal items are clearly labelled, well maintained and returned promptly to the correct person.
- Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Operative and General Manager.
- Monitor the laundry environment to ensure it remains clean, organised and safe at all times.
- Use initiative to identify and deal with spillages or hazards immediately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, attending meetings and training sessions while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Support the wider home wherever appropriate to ensure residents receive the highest standard of service.
About You
- Takes pride in delivering high standards and paying attention to detail.
- Is organised and able to manage workloads efficiently.

- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues.
- Is reliable, proactive and able to use their own initiative.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Pattern
8:00am - 5:00pm Permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off Average 31.5 hours per week
Pay
£13.53 per hour
