- Take full ownership of the EMI product strategy, roadmap and execution.
- Lead the launch of the EMI product, further develop and expand the product offering based on market needs and strategic goals.
- Form and lead cross-functional teams across product, technology and operations.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities and customer segments.
- Manage and enhance the core EMI offerings (e-wallets, IBAN accounts, cards, payment processing, etc.).
- Build and maintain partnerships with banks, card schemes and payment networks.
- Ensure robust governance, risk management and compliance practices across all EMI operations.
- Work in close collaboration with the CEO and the Board on progress, challenges and financial performance.
- Scale the team and infrastructure as the business grows.
Requirements
- Proven track record in building and scaling financial services products, preferably EMI, PI or banking products.
- Deep understanding of the European fintech regulatory landscape.
- Strong leadership experience managing multi-functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a startup/scaleup environment.
- Strong network in fintech, banking-as-a-service and payment ecosystems is a plus.
Conditions
- The role requires the General Manager to be based in the EU or UK, with a focus on building and structuring a core team around this location. While remote collaboration is possible, the key operations and leadership presence should be centered in Europe.
