Job Description:

The company is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution, built to empower digital assets, NFT, and blockchain gaming. Our mission is to empower digital asset ownership for people and businesses.

As a System Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company-owned technologies are highly secured in access and resistant to hacking, attacks, or other threats which would compromise the security or integrity of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate security patterns. Collaborate with engineering teams to align with security strategies.
• Implement, operate, and reinforce security tools, policies, and patterns to enhance overall security.
• Promote security best practices among technology stakeholders.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging security technologies and threat mitigation strategies.
• Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities across environments and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Prepare comprehensive security reports with assessments, findings, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Passionate engineer with a strong interest in security and continuous learning.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure or actively working towards it.
• Experience integrating SaaS systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Okta, Zoom) into a corporate environment.
• Comfortable working with Windows/Linux and open-source tools.
• Knowledge of security practices in continuous delivery environments.
• Ability to drive security practices and promote best practices within product teams.
• Coding or scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus.
