The Mission
Crypto Estate is a London-based PropTech venture on a mission to modernise property investment. We are tokenising real-estate assets to provide investors with a transparent and efficient digital experience. We have recently completed our initial engagement with the FCA and are now seeking a strategic Compliance Lead to join our founding team for the next phase of our journey.
The Role
As our Regulatory Co-Founder, you will be the lead architect of our compliance framework. You will manage our relationship with the regulator and ensure our platform is built for long-term stability and consumer trust within the UK’s digital-asset ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Authorisation: Lead the strategic planning and submission for Part 4A Authorisation.
- Perimeter Analysis: Provide expert guidance on the regulatory perimeter to ensure our asset structures are robust and compliant.
- Financial Promotions: Oversee the implementation of PS23/6 and ensure our investor communications meet the highest standards of the Consumer Duty.
- Framework Design: Establish AML/KYC and investor categorisation workflows tailored for the UK market.
About You
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of the FCA Handbook and experience navigating UK financial regulations.
- Venture Mindset: Motivated by the opportunity to build a compliant, world-class platform from the ground up.
- Professionalism: You view robust regulation as a core business strength and a way to protect our users.
- Education: Degree-educated (Bachelor’s or above) in Law, Finance, or a related field.
