About the Role
Crypto.com Exchange serves tens of millions of users globally. This Product Manager leads the end‑to‑end transition from verified identity to funded, active trader across five interdependent areas: KYC approval, Re‑KYC, Deposit & Withdrawal, First Trade & Activation, and Onboarding Rewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the identity verification platform strategy, roadmap, and execution.
- Manage multi‑vendor IDV infrastructure, combat synthetic fraud and AI‑generated identity attacks.
- Design low‑disruption re‑verification flows for existing users.
- Serve as gatekeeper for deposit and withdrawal experiences across all markets.
- Define eligibility rules, limits, and method lifecycle decisions.
- Design and ship first‑trade and activation ladders, removing friction between funding and trading.
- Own reward and incentive mechanics from KYC completion onward.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and drive stakeholder unblock, prioritise, and ship.
- Track success metrics such as KYC completion time, re‑verification completion rate, deposit success rate, and activation conversion.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing partners.
- Develop localisation strategies for new markets and payment methods.
- Champion AI‑native product development practices.
Requirements
- 6‑8+ years in Product Management at a high‑growth technology company.
- Proven experience owning products in identity verification, fiat payment rails, deposit conversion, or compliance‑heavy domains.
- Experience with IDV platforms, payment rail integration, or KYC/AML product design.
- Strong technical fluency: understanding of payment gateway logic, ledger systems, APIs, and ability to discuss multi‑vendor IDV routing.
- Regulatory fluency: deep knowledge of KYC, AML (FATF, GDPR, SCA), and local payment regulations.
- Data‑driven mindset with SQL proficiency and experience with funnel analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude).
- Demonstrated use of AI tools with human‑in‑the‑loop practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management; ability to influence without formal authority.
- Track record of delivering major onboarding or payments flows that improved key metrics.
