We are seeking a highly skilled Cryptocurrency Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves analysing digital currency markets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making through advanced data analysis and visualisation tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a keen analytical mindset, and experience in financial and blockchain environments. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of cryptocurrency market trends, price movements, and trading volumes using advanced data analysis techniques.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Design and optimise database structures, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and utilise SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Implement project management methodologies aligned with SDLC principles to ensure timely delivery of analytical solutions.
- Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), for data processing, automation, and modelling tasks.
- Perform business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and new data insights related to cryptocurrency markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design, system integration, and project planning to support business objectives.
- Maintain documentation of processes and models using Visio and other relevant tools to ensure clarity and reproducibility of analyses.
Experience
- Proven experience in data analysis within financial or blockchain sectors, preferably with a focus on cryptocurrencies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with demonstrated ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and business intelligence tools.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and project management principles relevant to analytical projects.
- Knowledge of database design principles and business analysis methodologies.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Visio for process mapping and documentation is desirable.
