Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of cryptocurrency market trends, price movements, and trading volumes using advanced data analysis techniques.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Design and optimise database structures, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and utilise SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Implement project management methodologies aligned with SDLC principles to ensure timely delivery of analytical solutions.
• Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), for data processing, automation, and modelling tasks.
• Perform business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and new data insights related to cryptocurrency markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design, system integration, and project planning to support business objectives.
• Maintain documentation of processes and models using Visio and other relevant tools to ensure clarity and reproducibility of analyses.

Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis within financial or blockchain sectors, preferably with a focus on cryptocurrencies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with demonstrated ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and business intelligence tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes and project management principles relevant to analytical projects.
• Knowledge of database design principles and business analysis methodologies.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
