This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Location
This is a hybrid one-day-a-week in the office role (but you can come in more if you want to) and requires you to be based in or close to London for this role.
This is a full-time role, however, we are also open to someone who prefers 4 days a week instead.
Overview
As the HR and Payroll Administrator at Cryptio, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring the seamless operation of HR and payroll processes. This role is critical in supporting our employees and contributing to the growth of our dynamic organisation. Additionally, you will report to and assist the Head of People, playing a key part in enhancing the overall People function and Cryptio\’s growth.

Onboarding

Facilitate the onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the organisation.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

Handle payroll processing and address related inquiries.

Understand and manage UK and US payroll platforms (Remote & Gusto), with knowledge of US payroll as a valuable asset.

Handle the benefits administration and be the 1st point of contact for our providers in the UK & US (SMART Pension, Allianz, United Healthcare, Guardian, Guideline).

Employee Records

Maintain accurate digital employee records in our HRIS Factorial.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries, ensuring compliance with UK and US regulations.

Time and Attendance:

Monitor and track employee PTO & absence records.

Policy Implementation:

Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Ensure employees are informed and compliant with organisational policies.

Employee Relations:

Address routine employee inquiries and concerns.

Compliance and Legal Support:

Ensure compliance with UK and US labour laws and regulations.

Assist in documentation for audits and legal compliance.

HR Reporting:

Generate HR reports on various metrics.

Assist the Head of People in preparing comprehensive HR reports.

Communication:

Facilitate communication between employees and the HR department.

Assist in the distribution of internal HR communications.

Office Management:

First point of contact for the office management.

Create guest access, and coordinate new starters\’ office access.

Office orders & repairs coordination.

Meeting room and boardroom booking management.

To be successful in this role, you should have

Proven experience as an HR & Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
-
Proficient understanding of UK and US payroll and benefits systems.
-
Strong organisational and communication skills.

Able to work in a scale-up environment – Things can get pretty hectic, but they\’re also a lot of fun and you\’ll always have the support of your colleagues!

Attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

Experience working with Factorial, Remote and Gusto (HRIS & Payroll) is a bonus, but we\’ll make sure to give you solid training if you don\’t have this experience!
