The role
We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join Cryptio in New York. You’ll be responsible for winning new business with large, complex accounts across banking, fintech, and the crypto industry. This is a full sales cycle role. You’ll take deals from first conversation all the way through to close, working with multiple stakeholders on the customer side and collaborating closely with colleagues internally. You’ll also have a real path into team leadership if that’s something you want. We’re building this team with the intention of promoting from within, and the right person here could step into a management role as the team grows.
What You’ll Do
- Win new business with large financial institutions, banks, exchanges, and crypto companies, managing complex sales processes that often involve legal, security, and compliance reviews.
- Find and develop new opportunities through your own outreach, events, and working alongside our partners.
- Build a deep understanding of each account: who the key decision makers are, what they care about, and what it will take to move them forward.
- Run a disciplined sales process and keep your deals well-organised, with a clear view of what’s needed to close.
- Work closely with our solutions team to run product evaluations and respond to technical and security questions.
- Partner with our Growth and Product teams on account strategy, including content, events, and targeted campaigns that help accelerate deals.
- Keep your forecast accurate and your CRM up to date so the wider team always has a clear picture of what’s in play.
- Set a high standard for written and verbal communication, both internally and with customers.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has 5 to 10+ years of experience selling complex software or data products to large businesses, particularly in regulated industries like financial services.
- Has consistently hit or exceeded targets on new business, ideally with deals worth $250k or more.
- Can speak confidently to senior decision makers and guide a buying process without being pushy.
- Brings discipline and structure to how they manage their deals and their time.
- Has experience working alongside technical colleagues on product evaluations or bespoke customer requirements.
- Has a background in fintech, crypto, or financial infrastructure, or strong adjacent experience and the drive to get up to speed quickly.
- Is genuinely interested in growing into a leadership role over time.
A note on career progression
We’re intentional about developing leaders from within. The right person for this role isn’t just a strong salesperson. They’re someone who naturally helps the people around them improve, contributes to how we do things, and wants to build something bigger than their own book of business. If you perform well and show those instincts, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and, over time, lead a team. This isn’t a requirement, but it’s a path we’re actively investing in.
Compensation
Competitive base + commission with no cap on earnings. Target new business for 2026: approximately $1.5M. A structured onboarding period to get you up to speed before you’re fully on target.
Why you’ll love this role
- Work with some of the world’s most sophisticated financial institutions on genuinely complex problems.
- Get real access to senior leadership and the ability to move fast on good ideas.
- Join a team that cares deeply about doing things well and holds each other to a high standard.
- Help shape how the New York office grows and operates.
