Commercial Client Manager – Leeds / hybrid
Due to a retirement, this rare opportunity to inherit a loyal client portfolio has become available. The book is made up of an interesting mix of commercial clients, mainly mid-market and with a few larger, more complex cases, the vast majority located in the Yorkshire area + a handful over towards the North of Manchester.
The role will be predominantly client servicing, following an organised handover process, where you will be introduced to the clients. There will be a small amount of account growth expected, as is normal, but not a specific new business target as such. Although this is essentially an Account Executive position, a lot of client work can be done via Teams, so there can be as much or as little client visitation as you see fit, dependent on how you develop your client relationships.
Ideal applicants could either be Account Executives with previous client retention experience or perhaps a Senior Broker / Account Handler looking to manage a client portfolio and to be involved in some client visitations. Ideally, you will have a good all-round commercial insurance knowledge across most classes of business.
Progress towards professional studies is preferred. Being a chartered insurance brokerage, our client is supportive of CII qualification and will provide full funding and study support. Ideal applicants will be professional, organised, team oriented and naturally committed to providing an exceptional level of customer service.
Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial although not essential as training can be provided.
You will be able to work on a flexible hybrid basis, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, however, you will be able to organise your diary to suit your client visitations.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary of up to circa £65k + full and comprehensive benefits.
