Our client is a dynamic and fiercely independent commercial insurance brokerage, based in the Leeds area, with smart modern offices and plenty of parking. They have been consistently achieving impressive growth, which has opened up lots of fantastic career opportunities.
They currently have a role available within their commercial broking team, supporting the Account Executives and an Account Director and working on a wide variety of commercial clients, mainly mid-market and some corporate.
In this role, you will be assisting with new business submissions, working with existing clients, making amendments to policies and be involved in marketing and negotiating renewals. You will be speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis and working closely with the team to deliver an exceptional level of customer service. Strong communication skills are required and being highly organised is a must.
Although this role is predominately desk based, there are likely to be plenty of opportunities to attend client meetings with the account executives to discuss risks, develop client relationships etc. and to obtain additional skills useful to your longer term career progression.
Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 2 years commercial insurance broking / handling experience, Cert CII or Dip CII qualified and with previous use of the Acturis system. You will be team oriented, smart, and professional and have a positive outlook.
This role comes with a salary up to £40k per annum plus a comprehensive benefits package which includes a generous pension contribution, health insurance, free parking and flexible working. CII qualifications will be fully supported.
