Flexible + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Excellent “home based” account executive role available to cover the North / East Yorkshire area with a very successful independent insurance brokerage. This is a duel role, taking over a small book of commercial clients as well as working to build the book through new business production.
You will be provided with a full home office set up, includes broadband, laptop, mobile, generous car allowance and expenses account. You will be supported by a fantastic team based at HQ, consisting of technical and placing brokers, administrators, in house DA underwriters, claims handlers and telesales.
You will have access to numerous exclusive specialist schemes with a “pen” facility so that you can make your own underwriting decisions quickly to secure client commitment. You will also have access to the open market as well as a panel of specialist insurers; although the majority of broking will be done for you.
Ideal applicants will have either previous experience in a similar account executive role or alternatively we are happy to hear from experienced commercial brokers or account handlers who feel ready to step into an account executive position. You will be reporting into a great regional development director, who will be there to offer you full support.
It is important that you have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, are an excellent communicator, not put off having a development target.
Progress towards CII studies would be preferred and will be fully supported. Previous use of Acturis would also be beneficial.
