Account Handler - West Yorkshire

Our client is a small independent insurance brokerage based a short journey from Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield. They are long established and have a great team environment and have a brand new job opening available.

Position: Private Client’s Account Handler

This role involves looking after the personal insurances of a large number of commercial clients, including motor, household, travel, etc. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing a full broking service
2. Dealing with new quotations
3. Making amendments to existing policies
4. Negotiating renewals

Although the main emphasis is on private clients, you may also be dealing with some commercial insurances; this could be the perfect role for a private client specialist to transition towards commercial insurance.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to £26k + Benefits. Being a small business, they prefer candidates able to be office-based; although there may be some flexibility.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get away from a large corporate environment, perhaps preferring to join a small, friendly business with a focus on developing close client relationships.
