Branch Manager - Insurance in Hull

This is a brand new role and will suit an individual with excellent management skills; perhaps you're currently leading a team and wish to step up into a more senior position. You will be joining this Hull based business which has been earmarked for growth, thus representing an exciting opportunity for an ambitious applicant.

Initially, the need is to appoint a branch leader to manage the day to day activity of the team, predominately focused on all areas of private client insurance, managing a long established and loyal cleint portfolio, working closely with the senior management to ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is maintained, implementing new business initiatives, identifying and providing any training requirements, recruiting new members etc.

As the role develops, longer-term, the business is looking to expand its commercial insurance offering; you will play a key part in this process, working with the senior team to identify and recruit suitable candidates in the East Yorkshire area.

As well as your management responsibilities, you will be the face of the business in the North of England, building and maintaining relationships with key insurer contacts, underwriters and other connected business introducer arrangements.

This exciting role could appeal to any of the following; an ambitious insurance or financial services professional with good management experience or an experienced account executive with a good all round knowledge of most classes of insurance looking for a leadership role.
