An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering a major long-term programme based in Whitehaven, Cumbria. Working within a high-performing commercial team, youll play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of complex infrastructure projects, managing subcontractors, supporting project leadership and helping to drive commercial performance across the project lifecycle. The Opportunity Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, youll provide commercial leadership across a major infrastructure project, ensuring robust contract administration, commercial governance and financial control throughout delivery. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams and clients to maximise value, manage risk and ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and successfully. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management Manage the commercial administration of major infrastructure projects from procurement through to final account. Administer subcontract packages, including valuations, payments, variations and change management. Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance.
