Are you a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer looking for a local field-based role where you can work on pumps and industrial equipment, with plenty of overtime and opportunities to increase your earnings? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, family-run engineering business specialising in commercial and industrial pump services. The company works with customers across the water infrastructure and facilities management sectors.

In this role, you'll travel to customer sites across the local area, carrying out installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of pumps, electric motors and associated equipment. You'll have plenty of autonomy in the field, backed by an experienced engineering team and extensive training.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, ideally with experience working on pumps, motors, HVAC or similar equipment. A practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding and working independently in the field is key.

The Role:

  • Installing, servicing and repairing pumps and electric motors
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Diagnosing breakdowns and completing reactive maintenance
  • Attending customer sites and providing technical support
  • Completing service reports and job documentation
  • Local field-based work with occasional further travel

The Person:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Pump Engineer or similar
  • Experience with pumps, motors, or HVAC equipment advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
