About the role
We have a unique farming opportunity at our Bellevue Farm on the outskirts of Hamilton. This is no ordinary farming job as you’ll be at the coal face of our production facility working with our prized bulls at our modern, export accredited production, laboratory and distribution facility. This is a great lifestyle farming opportunity with fixed working hours from 6.00am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) and some rostered weekend work.
The role involves:
- Bull collections
- Assisting with animal health testing & documentation
About you
This role will suit someone who loves farming but likes a bit of a challenge and the opportunity to try something a bit different. You will have the confidence, patience and calm demeanour needed to work with the bulls and will appreciate the role that they play in helping our customers achieve their farming goals and improve herd performance.
You will have:
- A farming background or experience.
- A respect and affinity for stock - a calm and considered approach is critical.
- A strong work ethic and be reliable.
- Your own transport and current driver’s license.
- A high level of personal health and fitness.
- An utmost respect for health and safety.
- The ability and willingness to learn and follow our procedures.
