Crux is on the lookout for exceptionally talented Junior Human Factors Engineers. You will be exposed to an array of exciting projects, ranging from medical devices to consumer and digital products, across all phases of development. Working closely with internal project teams and global clients to develop safe and usable devices, ensuring that user needs are considered early and often throughout the design process.

The role involves a range of activities such as desk and field research, use-related risk management, planning and conducting Human Factors studies, and compiling results into clear and concise reports, appropriate for client teams and in accordance with regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • On track to achieve, or have recently graduated with, a first classification in a relevant accredited degree program.
  • Understanding of Human Factors techniques and usability principles.
  • Experience in evaluating and improving designs based on sound usability understanding.
  • An ability to synthesise a lot of information and distil it into meaningful design recommendations.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work within multiple cross-disciplinary teams and be client facing.
