As a Graphic Designer at Crux, your focus will be to support the business with a variety of creative tasks: internal graphic design with print and digital outputs; Crux brand asset development; pitch deck creation; video reel creation and editing; and where required, motion graphic work. This role is part of the design team at Crux and requires the ability to independently manage requests from the commercial team, the design team and the wider business.
You will take projects from concept to completion autonomously, while receiving guidance, feedback, and support from senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for owning the development of brand assets for Crux in physical and digital formats and will support internal and externally facing cross‑functional campaigns by crafting compelling print and digital, video and animated outputs. You will thrive in this role by embodying a proactive, action‑oriented mindset, consistently surpassing expectations, and operating with a keen sense of vision and integrity. You will bring a strong perspective of current and emerging design trends in order to influence and deliver world class design outcomes for Crux.
Principal Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with Crux team members (product designers, engineers, usability experts, business development) to fulfil design and marketing briefs.
- Conceptualising and executing ideas that enhance our brand and resonate with our audience.
- Supporting the Crux brand and its manifestation across multiple touchpoints, document types and audiences – both internal and external.
- Staying on track with emerging design trends and culture.
- Creating and editing video reels for internal and client facing purposes.
- Content creation (designing and editing marketing communications).
- Articulating and presenting your thoughts and ideas to teams internally and client teams externally.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
- Proactive, confident, autonomous designer who can take a brief and run with it.
- 1-3 years’ consultancy or in‑house experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience in creating and editing video content.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and animation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to cross‑function stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Motion graphics for digital content, such as social media animations, explainer videos, or presentations.
- Experience in Figma and Digital Design.
- Experience in PowerBI.
