We are looking for a talented mid-level Advanced Electronics & Software Engineer to join our team. Our engineers bring their electronics expertise, including analytical, theoretical, and experimental capabilities to Crux’s client projects. This is a unique opportunity to help change the face of engineering within the medical devices sector, using innovation to solve complex problems, and deliver creative engineering solutions to both the pharmaceutical and consumer industries.
The role will involve bare metal and RTOS based software design, coding embedded firmware in C/C++, GUI development in Python, signal processing implementation as well as working on electronics hardware, schematics capture and PCB layout. You will be working collaboratively to deliver projects in a timely and professional manner. The role requires a flexible approach and the ability to work well with clients and the wider project team.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential
- Bare Metal & RTOS based embedded software design, implementation and verification.
- Signal processing implementation.
- Wireless communications - preferably BLE, Sub-GHz.
- Electronics Architecture & Design.
- Electronics Debug & Bring-up.
- Appetite for solving difficult and unusual problems.
- Ability to work within multiple cross-disciplinary teams and be client facing.
- Achieved a first or high 2:1 classification in a relevant accredited degree program.
- Embedded Linux.
