We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and fast growing Estate Agency who are looking to add an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Senior Lister / Valuer to their team. This is not just a listing role. This is a key senior position within the branch where you will play a huge part in growing market share, increasing instructions and helping drive the overall success of the business.
The Role:
As Senior Lister / Valuer, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, attending valuations, winning instructions, negotiating offers and supporting the wider sales and lettings team. You will become the face of the business in your local market, building relationships with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants whilst delivering a first class customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Winning new instructions across residential sales and lettings
- Generating new valuation opportunities through canvassing, prospecting, leaflet dropping, networking and repeat business
- Attending market appraisals and providing accurate, well researched market advice
- Converting valuations into instructions through strong relationship building and negotiation
- Carrying out property viewings when required
- Negotiating offers between vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants
- Providing regular feedback to clients regarding marketing performance, viewings and buyer interest
- Working closely with applicants and purchasers to maximise opportunities and secure deals
- Supporting branch growth through increased market share and strong board presence
- Maintaining high fee levels and maximising branch profitability
- Progressing transactions accurately and efficiently through to completion
- Supporting junior staff members and helping maintain a positive, high performance office culture
- Ensuring full compliance with current property legislation, AML and GDPR requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous Estate Agency experience within a Lister, Valuer, Senior Negotiator or Branch based valuation role
- Strong knowledge of the local property market
- A proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business
- Confident and professional when dealing with clients face to face
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Highly motivated, target driven and hungry to earn
- Organised with strong diary management and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle
