About The Role: As a Partnerships Senior Manager within the Business Development group, you will manage and nurture strategic relationships with main platform partners in the EMEA region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of these crucial partnerships, maximising our content's reach and enhancing the user experience for our global anime fans.
Core Areas of Responsibility:
- Strategic Partner Relationship Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive partner management strategy for our EMEA specific partners, aligned with our organisational goals to foster long-lasting partnerships.
- Be the primary contact for assigned main platform partners (i.e. Sky, VMO2, TitanOS), maintaining regular communication and promptly addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
- Partner Growth and Expansion: Collaborate with platform partners to identify growth opportunities, co-create strategies, and implement joint plans that increase mutual success and subscriber growth.
- Establish relationships and influence other internal departments, including Marketing, Brand Management, Analytics, Finance, Strategy, Product, Engineering, and Content Operations.
- Collaborate with the Legal team to draft and finalise partnership renewals and promotional agreements that protect our interests while promoting a partnership foundation.
- Monitor partner performance metrics to identify areas of improvement, develop action plans to improve performance, and present during Business Reviews.
- Support new business opportunities with current and prospective partners alongside the VP, Global Distribution (EMEA Lead).
- Travel to partner meetings and represent Crunchyroll in industry events in the region.
About You:
- 8+ years of experience with successful partner/account management and business development within the media or streaming industry in the EMEA region.
- In-depth understanding of the media and streaming landscape, platform dynamics, and the competitive environment.
- Experience in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with main platform partners.
- Demonstrated experience driving business growth and revenue through successful partner management goals.
- Experience negotiating with partners to represent organisational interests.
- Interest in keeping up-to-date with media industry trends and the latest technologies, especially in the EMEA market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
About The Team: The Partner Management team leads the daily responsibilities of all global distribution outlets within Business Development. Partners include the likes of Amazon, Google, Apple, VIDAA, TitanOS, LG, and many more.
