About the Role
The Business Development team is responsible for driving pipeline growth that ultimately drives revenue across both net new prospects and current customers. We take a value-oriented approach to working with our prospects ensuring we are driving interest across the entire suite of Crunchtime products. As the Business Development Representative Manager, you will lead a team of Business Development Representatives to set introductory meetings and develop sales opportunities. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will be collaborating with other business leaders to execute against the identified strategy and deliver results against the stated goals. As a leader, you will also be responsible for the coaching and development of your team.
Responsibilities:
- Own and architect business development internationally in the UK, Europe, GCC, APAC regions with the opportunity to expand scope into additional regions and layers of leadership.
- Oversee a team of 5-6 (BDRs) to prospect, develop, and qualify leads resulting in high-quality opportunities.
- Navigate diverse international markets with different buyer behaviors, sales cycles, and cultural nuances.
- Facilitate a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration within the BDR team.
- Coach, develop and promote the next generation of Crunchtime sales reps & leaders.
- Manage and achieve KPIs, quotas, and goals.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve lead quality and conversion + identify funnel inefficiencies across regions.
- Provide detailed reporting on team’s activities and performance as well as accurate forecasts to leadership.
- Work directly with the Director of Global Business Development to shape strategy and execution across regions.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and launch initiatives to drive both new business development growth and operational excellence.
- Work with marketing to drive new inbound business through campaigns and content.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new BDRs in our International regions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 1+ years of business development leadership experience in B2B SaaS (bonus if restaurant SaaS experience).
- Understanding of outbound sales prospecting.
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and training BDRs.
- A passion for coaching and developing others.
- Operational experience including defining process and territories.
- Excellent written, oral communication and leadership skills.
- Experience creating sales assets including scripts, battle cards, and objection handling material.
- Ability to review KPI data to identify trends in execution and to create action plans if necessary.
- Understanding of Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Data-oriented mindset, someone who is very comfortable looking at data to drive decisions.
- Experience working with solutions like Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Highspot.
- Successful track record of leading BDR teams to exceed their goals.
- Experience working closely with the Marketing org to manage the lead hand-off process between Marketing and Sales.
