This position sits at the heart of onboard luxury retail performance — combining deep product expertise, consultative coaching, and measurable sales impact across fine jewellery and Swiss watch environments at sea including other Luxury categories. This is not a traditional training role. It's designed for a seasoned luxury retail professional who knows how to inspire teams, drive results, and elevate an entire fleet's performance from the inside out.
The Role
As Luxury Field Training Manager you will be the expert voice, performance coach, and strategic partner for onboard fine jewellery and Swiss watch teams across the fleet.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Luxury Field Trainers across multiple vessels
- Deliver high-impact training sessions to onboard retail teams in fine jewellery and Swiss watches
- Observe Field Trainers in action and provide real-time, actionable coaching to elevate their impact
- Drive key onboard sales metrics including overall performance and PPD
- Build strong partnerships with District Managers, onboard and shoreside leadership
- Ensure learning is sustained beyond ship visits through structured follow-up strategies
- Monitor performance trends through reporting tools and dashboards
- Introduce innovative approaches to continuously elevate the guest experience and retail results
- Work with senior leadership to deliver key leadership training and coaching programmes
- Uphold onboard safety, security, and environmental responsibilities at all times

About You
You may come from a luxury watch maison, fine jewellery house, travel retail, or another premium training and L&D environment.
- A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in luxury retail training or Learning & Development
- Deep technical knowledge of Swiss watch movements, complications, and fine jewellery craftsmanship
- Confidence delivering training and presenting to diverse, multicultural audiences
- A proven track record of driving sales performance through coaching and development
- The ability to lead and inspire a team of trainers across a fast‑paced, global environment
- Exceptional cross‑cultural communication skills — able to connect with teams from any background
- Strong commercial awareness and a results‑driven mindset
- Resilience, adaptability, and a polished, professional presence
- A genuine passion for luxury product and the stories behind the craftsmanship
- Luxury brand experience — whether watches, jewellery, or broader high‑end retail — is essential. Cruise experience is a bonus, but not essential.
