Join a Global Leader in Metal Manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading manufacturers in Birmingham. They are a very well-established business who supply mainly the leading aerospace manufacturers.
The types of machines you will be working on as an electrical maintenance engineer on a day-to-day basis will be large industrial machines. Experience within heavy industry and experience with PLC fault finding is required.
This role will be based in the Engineering Maintenance Department reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be working a full continental shift pattern. The postholder may come into contact with technology or equipment controlled by local and/or U.S. Government legislation and will be required to undertake specific security screening protocols.
The purpose of the role: To provide routine maintenance support across all plant and development of new and established equipment throughout the Plant. A culture of continuous improvement, right first time and preventative maintenance operates within this area and all individuals are required to work within this framework.
The main duties are to:
- Provide preventative, corrective, and reactive work across all plant equipment and facilities.
