Role Summary
Our client are looking for a hands-on, creative, highly organised, data-driven Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing day-to-day marketing, managing digital channels, enhancing our reputation online, and supporting the owners in growing our clients' visitor base and community engagement.
Key Objectives
- Increase footfall and online bookings throughout the year.
- Drive repeat visits and build customer loyalty.
- Grow social media presence and engagement.
- Enhance online reviews and brand reputation.
- Support seasonal campaign planning and execution.
- Maintain consistent customer communication through email and CRM.

Who You Are
- A self-starter with a passion for community, nature, and family-friendly experiences -- Experience in small business or attraction-based marketing preferred.
- Strong skills in social media, basic graphic design (Canva or similar), email platforms, and light analytics
- Excellent communicator, both online and in-person
- Creative, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a hands-on environment
Desirable Tools/Experience
- Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, WordPress or similar CMS, CRM software (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho)
- Photography or video editing skills a bonus!
This is an exciting opportunity with an engaging, growing organisation. This position is a contract role, 3/4 days per week, paid at a day rate. The role will be based primarily on-site at our clients venue near York, with some flexibility for remote work on occasion.
