I’m looking for a Senior BMS Controls Engineer who is looking for stability and wants to join a well-established business with a low staff turnover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior BMS Controls Engineer to undertake a mixed-function role undertaking both commissioning and maintenance roles for a specialist BMS controls company operating across the Midlands, Northern Home Counties and the London area.

You will provide customers with both service and maintenance as well as commissioning duties on projects, which will largely be oriented towards system upgrades, refurbishments and refits in a variety of properties.

You will be proficient with a variety of Trend control systems and will ideally also have capability with Tridium or Distech products and software, but full training will be provided on additional systems.

Duties will include:

  1. To maintain and improve customer BMS systems
  2. Undertake both routine and reactive servicing and fault-finding.
  3. Completing clear and concise reports detailing work carried out and any recommendations of extra works
  4. To carry out extra works and small projects / commissioning works
  5. Identifying potential improvement projects for customers for reliability, optimisation and energy efficiency.
  6. Quote simple remedial works and small extra works
  7. Undertake BMS energy audits and reviews.

Key Skills/Qualifications:

  1. Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  2. Experienced in the full commissioning of Building Management Systems
  3. Qualified and experienced with Trend Control Systems and ideally Tridium or Distech amongst others
  4. Able to modify Software and Graphics
  5. BACnet, SIPP, Modbus systems experience desired.
  6. CSCS/ECS or JIB registered
  7. A full clean UK driving licence
