About the role: As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will oversee new BMS and ICT projects during the early stages, ensuring a consistent, efficient approach to pre-construction planning. Acting as the key point of contact post-sales, you will drive early design and engineering, manage procurement reviews, negotiate supplier discounts, and issue project programmes aligned with contract timelines. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to set projects up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-construction phases of BMS & ICT projects
- Oversee order acknowledgements and support project handovers
- Act as customer contact post-sales handover
- Conduct procurement reviews and negotiate supplier discounts
- Produce and issue project programmes and schedules
- Drive early design, engineering, and project deliverables
- Provide commercial and contractual input to ensure project efficiency
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record managing major projects
- Strong knowledge of BMS/ICT systems and associated technologies
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and web-based document control systems
