Job Description

BMS Service & Commissioning Engineer – London & M25

Tired of being stuck on repeat with nothing but PPMs? Promised training that never came? Working alone, feeling like just a number?

This is your chance to break out of the routine and join a growing, close-knit BMS team where variety, development, and culture aren’t just buzzwords – they’re built into the job.

Covering London and the M25 region, you’ll be part of a service team that doesn’t just tick boxes. Your week might include scheduled PPMs, reactive callouts, fault-finding, small works, T&M jobs, and even commissioning on major projects – all with the full backing of a team that’s growing fast and doing things differently.

You won’t be micro-managed or boxed in. You’ll have ownership of client relationships, the freedom to follow up on issues you’ve spotted, and the scope to get stuck into work that actually interests you. If you’ve ever felt you could be doing more – this role is exactly that.

Led by management who’ve come up through the ranks, the team understands the job from the ground up. You’ll be supported by a strong internal structure and a line manager who believes in giving people the tools, training, and trust to progress.

This is a small business with big-business benefits - You don't have to be in a large corporation to get a comprehensive benefits package.

The benefits are standout:

  • £40,000 – £55,000 salary (depending on experience)

  • £6k annual car allowance

  • Up to 36 days total leave (25 days + public holidays + 3 other incentive days)

  • Private healthcare for you and your family fully paid for by the business.

  • Contributory pension scheme with additional incentives to contribute via salary sacrifice

  • Access to manufacturer training, BCIA courses, and further development aligned to your goals

  • A broad and varied workload across service, maintenance, T&M, remedial works, and commissioning

  • A genuinely collaborative, sociable, and inclusive team culture – with regular company socials and get-togethers.

This is more than a service role – it’s a route to wider project exposure, deeper system knowledge, and the kind of variety that keeps you sharp. Whether you're looking to grow technically, expand into commissioning, or just finally work somewhere that invests in you – this is the step up you’ve been waiting for.
