Job Description
BMS Project Manager – Central London
We\’re supporting a long-established BMS contractor that delivers complex, multi-system projects across Central London and the South East. The business is known for taking full responsibility for delivery in-house, giving project managers clear ownership, strong technical backing, and the ability to influence outcomes from start to finish.
This organisation works across major commercial developments where BMS plays a critical role in energy performance, compliance, and day-to-day building operation. Their projects regularly involve integration with wider ELVS packages and require close coordination with main contractors, consultants, and end users.
About the role
As BMS Project Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of projects, from sales handover through design coordination, engineering, installation, commissioning, and final client handover.
You\’ll lead project teams, manage subcontractors, and take responsibility for programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety. You\’ll also play a key role in identifying variations, managing project commercials, and ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing BMS projects through all delivery stages
- Coordinating design, engineering, panel build, site works, and commissioning
- Acting as the main client point of contact
- Managing subcontractors, procurement, and site logistics
- Controlling programme, budgets, variations, and project reporting
- Ensuring compliance with ISO quality, environmental, and H&S standards

- Proven experience delivering large BMS projects
- Strong understanding of BMS, M&E systems, and integrated ELVS environments
- Confident communicator with solid commercial and contractual awareness
