Own a profitable region, shape a 40-person team, and have true P&L say-so. Surrey based with regional remit across the South, you’ll run a mature business unit with full autonomy over delivery and growth. You’ll actually own the plan and the numbers. You’ll lead a team of c.40 technical and administrative staff across projects delivery, service & maintenance and operations, shaping delivery, margin and customer experience across the South. You’ll coach your manager layer, sort escalations decisively, and partner with Sales on work you’re happy to deliver — not firefight someone else’s forecast. You will set the plan, own the numbers, develop your managers and take escalations to resolution rather than watching from the sidelines.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Hit (and improve) revenue and EBITDA while keeping delivery performance and customer satisfaction high — your decisions directly move the P&L.
  • Lead a multi-discipline team, set objectives, coach managers, complete appraisals, and grow future leaders.
  • Forecast and de-risk: orders, invoicing, labour planning, and GM% — you’ll collaborate with finance and board leadership to keep forecasts real.
  • Be the calm at escalation: own customer issues to closure; ensure maintenance/support and projects land to expectation; uphold H&S policy.
  • Partner with Sales to drive sustainable, profitable work. One honest challenge: this isn’t a hands-off “steady state” region — you’ll balance growth with margin discipline, tidy debt exposure, and personally front tricky escalations when needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Senior leadership in BMS/Controls across project and service environments.
  • Proven P&L responsibility (revenue, EBITDA, forecasting, GM%).
  • A track record of leading leaders — coaching managers, improving performance and culture.
  • Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Benefits: 25–27 days holiday (service-linked) with buy/sell, pension up to 10%, private healthcare perks, EV salary sacrifice & charger loan, cycle to work, smart-tech loan (interest-free), and broad retail discounts.

APPLY NOW! CV not ready? That’s fine — we can talk first and can worry about a CV later. You must have a Right To Work in the UK - No sponsorship is available. Please note that unfortunately any applicants without the relevant work experience, or the Right To Work in the UK will be unsuccessful.
