As a BMS Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing service and commissioning activities on BMS/DDC control systems such as Trend, Siemens, and Tridium. You’ll work closely with engineers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, rapid response to breakdowns, and consistent compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their professional growth through appraisals, technical coaching, and development planning. * Oversee the servicing, commissioning, and maintenance of BMS/DDC systems (Trend, Siemens, Tridium) across national client sites. * Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations—daily. * Build strong client relationships and act as the technical point of contact, providing solutions and ensuring high-quality service delivery. * Respond to breakdowns and coordinate timely resolution in line with SLAs. * Manage documentation, reporting, and compliance in line with ISO standards and company procedures. * Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Coordinators) and external contractors to drive smooth service execution. * Support small works and technical queries for new installations, modifications, and upgrades. * Maintain accurate engineer scheduling, performance KPIs, and vehicle safety protocols. * Identify and promote opportunities for additional work, supporting commercial growth. Qualifications & Experience * Proven experience in technical service delivery or engineering management, ideally in BMS or controls systems. * Deep knowledge of DDC control systems (Trend, Siemens, Tridium) and their commissioning. * Strong understanding of health and safety compliance and risk assessment processes. * Demonstrable leadership experience—able to inspire, guide, and develop engineering teams. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of CAFM/permit systems like Verisae or Ostara. * Experience working with ISO compliance and technical documentation standards.
