The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for delivering major Smart Building projects, directly managing:
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- Converged Network Solutions (building ICT infrastructure networks)
You'll also coordinate and manage specialist subcontractors delivering:
- Fire Detection Systems
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Audio Visual Systems
- Lighting Control Systems
- Other ELV technology packages
Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal delivery teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and operationally to the highest standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading projects from design and pre-construction through to completion
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and reviewing technical designs
- Managing project programmes, milestones and delivery plans
- Overseeing procurement, materials and resource planning
- Managing direct labour and specialist subcontractors
- Controlling project costs, forecasts and commercial performance
- Managing variations, change control and contractual obligations
- Attending and leading client, contractor and progress meetings
- Monitoring project risk and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensuring Health & Safety, quality and compliance standards are achieved
- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Driving successful project outcomes while protecting commercial performance
