Lead Siemens BMS Engineer – Major Central London Project Central London Contract £400–£450 per day Can you take ownership of a Siemens commissioning package rather than simply work through a points list? My client is a specialist BMS contractor delivering the BMS package on a major Central London project and needs an experienced Lead Siemens BMS Engineer who can take responsibility for a small team completing the site's FCU commissioning. This isn't purely a hands-on commissioning position. You'll still need strong technical Siemens knowledge, but the real value you bring will be your ability to coordinate the engineers, bring the completed FCUs together within ABT and work with the wider BMS team to get the required data across to the Schneider EcoStruxure EBO headend. What you'll be responsible for Leading a small team of engineers carrying out FCU commissioning Coordinating commissioning activity and keeping the package moving Providing technical support and direction to other engineers Checking that commissioned FCUs have been completed and proven correctly Bringing the FCUs together within Siemens ABT Managing and troubleshooting issues within the Siemens controls package Liaising closely with the project's Schneider EcoStruxure engineers Coordinating the transfer of required BMS data into the Schneider EBO headend Identifying integration or commissioning issues and helping drive them through to resolution Maintaining visibility of progress and outstanding works Helping ensure completed systems are ready for integration, testing and handoverWhat we're looking for You'll need to be a strong Siemens BMS engineer with the technical credibility to support and direct other commissioning engineers. In particular, you should have good working knowledge of: Siemens building controls Siemens ABT BMS commissioning FCU controls and commissioning Fault-finding and system proving Coordinating commissioning activities across multiple engineersPrevious experience leading engineers, supervising commissioning packages or acting as a senior/lead engineer would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) or previous experience integrating Siemens controls into a wider BMS architecture would also be valuable. Why this role? This is a good opportunity if you're already operating as a senior Siemens engineer and want a position where you're trusted to own a package of work rather than simply complete individual commissioning tasks. You'll have responsibility for both the technical delivery and coordination of a small team, while working on an interesting controls architecture combining Siemens ABT and Schneider EcoStruxure EBO on a substantial Central London project.
