Are you a skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer with expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality projects, optimizing energy performance, and ensuring seamless system integration? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to play a key role in the commissioning, testing, and delivery of our BMS and smart energy solutions. This will include production of schedules, description of operation, modification of the panel design, production/modification of drawings and when required the creation of software and graphics.

About the role:

  • Oversee the full commissioning process, ensuring projects align with design specifications and schedules.
  • Maintain and backup software and strategy files for all systems/sites.
  • Provide support to team members, create technical submittals, update control panel drawings, and ensure documentation is accurate.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and engineers, managing day-to-day activities and ensuring strong relationships.
  • Enforce Health & Safety policies, create and update method statements, and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
  • Conduct site surveys, attend progress meetings, complete wiring and commissioning schedules, and produce detailed reports.
  • Submit daily progress reports, highlight delays, update project files, and ensure all 'as commissioned' data is recorded.
  • Attend training courses and meetings to stay updated with the latest industry practices.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in commissioning and delivering BMS, HVAC, or energy management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, or Schneider Electric.
  • Technical expertise in system integration, networking, and field device configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, control schematics, and project specifications.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with clients and project teams.
  • A detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
