We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, in North West! This role involves managing and delivering Time & Materials (T&M) projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing procurement, project design, commissioning, and customer handovers.

About the role:

  • Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
  • Implement and monitor safe systems of work on assigned T&M/projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for project delivery.
  • Conduct client training, demonstrations, and handovers.
  • Identify and address additional training needs.
  • Develop and oversee project management documents including H&S, CDM, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
  • Procure control items, approve control panel drawings, and size control valves.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors.
  • Attend site progress meetings as required.
  • Produce weekly project reports.
  • Design and review technical project submissions.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities.
  • Identify and evaluate project variations.
  • Produce operation & maintenance documentation.
