We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, in North West! This role involves managing and delivering Time & Materials (T&M) projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards. The Project Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing procurement, project design, commissioning, and customer handovers.
About the role:
- Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
- Implement and monitor safe systems of work on assigned T&M/projects.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for project delivery.
- Conduct client training, demonstrations, and handovers.
- Identify and address additional training needs.
- Develop and oversee project management documents including H&S, CDM, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
- Procure control items, approve control panel drawings, and size control valves.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors.
- Attend site progress meetings as required.
- Produce weekly project reports.
- Design and review technical project submissions.
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities.
- Identify and evaluate project variations.
- Produce operation & maintenance documentation.
