About the Role
CRU is looking for a motivated and analytical intern to join its Consulting division. In this role, you will support the delivery of client projects by assisting the consulting team in generating strategic insights and high-quality solutions tailored to our clients’ business challenges. Working closely with experienced consultants, you will carry out research, conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, identify key trends and insights and develop reports, presentations and other client-facing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery of client engagements and internal initiatives across the consulting division.
- Conduct background research and collect data using internal CRU databases and external resources.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis using Excel or other analytical tools to uncover key trends and insights.
- Draft clear, structured written outputs that summarise key findings, insights, and implications in a client-friendly format.
- Support in the preparation of high-quality deliverables for CRU clients which can include written reports, PowerPoint presentations, models in Excel and attendance of client meetings where appropriate.
- Participate in team discussions, contribute ideas and assist with task coordination under the guidance of senior team members.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and manage time effectively to meet internal and client-facing deadlines.
Qualifications
Recent graduates or candidates currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (mining, geology, material sciences, engineering, economics, sustainability, business, etc.)

- Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
