Your Role
We are looking for ambitious interns who want to develop their professional and events skills with hands-on experience and responsibility. The team behind ClimbUK are passionate about delivering the UK’s premier event for entrepreneurs and investors, as well as bringing the investment spotlight to the North of England to combat the perspective that “it all happens in the South”. - Speaker & Program Management: 3 months: Start of May - July 4th
- Event Production: 3 months: Start of May - July 4th
- Partner Success Management: 3 months: Start of May - July 4th
- Marketing: 2 months: Start of May - July 4th
Your tasks & responsibilities
- Support in organising ClimbUK festival
- Successful execution of ClimbUK in the individual departments
- Ensuring excellent support and communication across all our stakeholders
- Post-event evaluation
Your Profile
- Capacity to work minimum 4 days/week but ideally full time (this will be based in our events planning office based in Leeds)
- You already have some experience in the business world which can be as an intern
- You already have some experience with professional communication, polite both on the phone and via email
- Able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Highly self-motivated and resilient
- Problem solver, able to seek out and recommend solutions
- Excellent organisation skills and an ability to work independently
- High level of attention to detail and ability to repeat tasks accurately
- Proactive, hands-on mentality and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexible attitude, comfortable with change and thrive in working under pressure including in stressful time-sensitive situations
- Passionate about and want to learn more about events management or the startup/investment ecosystem
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
