£40K basic salary
My client is a fast growth international payment provider with a USP in catering for SME businesses. Not only do they have award winning POS & Ecommerce payment offerings – They also have several partner products available to clients e.g. Lending services and Accounting Technology.
Its an exciting time to join company after large scale investment from Pollen Street Capital allowing a growth trajectory for the business & employees.
What you\’ll be doing as a Relationship Executive
• Proactively manage a group of existing merchants, helping them achieve their payments objectives through retention and helping them grow
• Proactively market to portfolio to drive uplift in spend, working alongside product, marketing and other cross functional teams
• Act as a point of escalation to help identify and solve merchant issues, and provide a best-in-class account management service
• Identify areas where we can add value to our merchant relationships to improve their overall satisfaction with the customer journey
• Support colleagues across the Relationship Management team, through identifying and nurturing growth of key merchants which can subsequently be transferred across portfolios if required
• Proactively managing a small group of partners and be a point of escalation for any payments issues
• Protect customer basis by reacting to potential customer attrition levels by reacting to data and reporting which could give us insight that a merchant levels of trading are dropping off, allowing us to intervene and hopefully retain them.
• Create a process whereby we can identify those merchants who have left us, and through creation of email templates, try to win them back.
• Work with our partners to drive further merchant adoption
Requirements for the Relationship Executive
- Previous experience working in Account Management or Relationship Management position within Fintech or Payments
- Ideally experience managing SME businesses
- Experience working towards targets ( commercial mindset)
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers to drive engagement and satisfaction.
- Experience of working with customers and building rapport with them through regular engagement
- Problem solving skills – ability to look at an issue and think up potential creative solutions.
