In This Role, You Will:
- Be the First Line of Defence – Manage annual loan reviews and oversee portfolio health to ensure risks are identified and mitigated early.
- Safeguard Credit Quality – Review credit submissions, consent requests, and borrower variations to protect the bank’s secured position.
- Lead on Monitoring – Act as the go-to recipient for daily alerts and updates on client risks, escalating where needed.
- Support Strategic Reviews – Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities through consistent engagement with portfolio performance.
- Work Cross-Functionally – Liaise with the Business Support Unit and credit teams to resolve arrears issues and flag potential deterioration.
- Champion Compliance – Ensure all activity aligns with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
- Promote a Risk-Conscious Culture – Collaborate with the Relationship Team to embed strong risk awareness and proactive credit management.
- Drive Portfolio Excellence – Support team development and contribute to high-quality client outcomes and long-term asset performance.
