My client is a fast-growing fintech company redefining how businesses accept and manage payments across Europe and beyond. They empower merchants with modern, secure, and scalable payment solutions. As they scale their operations in the UK, they are looking for a passionate and strategic Partner Business Development Manager to help grow their partner network and drive revenue through strong alliances.

Role Summary

As a Partner Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive growth for my client. You’ll work closely with ISOs and referral partnerships to accelerate customer acquisition and will work to convert the merchants that such partners introduce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and onboard new channel and strategic partners aligned with go-to-market strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to drive joint business opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, commercial terms, and incentive models.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop co-marketing strategies and integrated partner solutions.
  • Monitor partner performance, ensure partner satisfaction, and optimize channel efficiency.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the payments and fintech industry.
  • Represent my client at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in business development or partnerships in Payments.
  • You will ideally have a network/experience in high-risk verticals such as crypto, fx, trading, gambling, igaming.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling successful partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop business cases and ROI models.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet partners and attend industry events.
