My client, a real estate lender specialising in real estate finance, is known for delivering innovative, client-focused solutions. With a commitment to excellence, they support property development, investment, and asset management strategies, serving a wide range of clients within the real estate sector. They are currently seeking a Portfolio Director to manage and develop a portfolio of clients while contributing to the delivery of their business plan. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for credit management, income generation, risk management, and compliance, all while supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and grow a portfolio of loans, negotiating terms aligned with strategic goals, ensuring appropriate risk management and capital optimization.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their future needs are met and strategically supporting their goals.
- Service Delivery: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely and professional service.
- External Relationships: Foster relationships with external advisors to grow the brand and expand business opportunities.
- Credit & Risk Management: Prepare credit papers, ensure compliance with internal policies, and monitor loan progress, including construction and sale milestones.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development team to onboard new client relationships effectively.
- Loan Monitoring & Restructuring: Monitor loan performance, negotiate restructurings when necessary, and ensure facilities operate in line with agreed terms.
- Project & Cash Flow Oversight: Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying issues early and working to resolve them.
