I’m partnering with a dynamic lender in the UK real estate finance space that’s looking to bring on board an experienced Bridging/Development Finance Underwriter. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you’ll play a key role in assessing large and complex deals, managing relationships with brokers and solicitors, and driving cases through to completion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Underwriting and assessing fully packaged loan applications in line with credit policy and risk appetite
- Engaging directly with brokers/introducers to clarify deals and resolve queries
- Reviewing valuations, legal documents, and reports to progress applications
- Preparing and updating credit papers, issuing mortgage offers, and facilitating completion
- Acting as the key point of contact for complex cases, ensuring SLA standards are met
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent understanding of the full loan process (bridging/development property finance experience essential)
