We're working with a growing independent property consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Asset Management Surveyor as part of its ambitious expansion plans.
The business works closely with banks, lenders and investors, specialising in property valuations, restructuring, recovery and asset management.
With plans to triple in size over the next three years, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied property portfolio and play a key role in developing the asset management function.
The Role
- Manage commercial and distressed property assets, ensuring compliance, performance and value are maintained.
- Oversee leases, rent reviews, arrears, service charges and property-related costs.
- Manage contractors, maintenance programmes, managing agents and property inspections.
- Identify opportunities to improve rental income, reduce costs and enhance asset value.
- Work closely with clients and specialist teams to develop and deliver asset management strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial property or asset management.
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters, property compliance and lease management.
- Experience managing contractors, agents and multiple property assets.
- Exposure to distressed property, restructuring or recovery would be advantageous.
- MRICS, AssocRICS or progress towards chartership would be beneficial but is not essential.
